Dates for the diary for sailing enthusiasts are the Giraglia Rolex Cup in June and Le Voile de Saint Tropez in October, when magnificent yachts take to the waves in spectacular regattas.
Golf lovers, on the other hand, can relax on the greens of Bouvallon Golf Club or the Amarante Golf Club in Saint-Maxime, both 18-hole courses.
There is no lack either of places to go mountain biking or horse-riding, and the chance to try your hand at sailing, jet skiing and other nautical sports
